Our Client is a well established company with a great reputation in the design and manufacture of Pressure Vessels. Due to continued expansion the company have developed a position within the company for a Mechanical Design/Project Engineer. .
As an experienced Design Engineer the applicant should be highly conversant with the design and manufacture to the following pressure vessel design codes and guides ASME,PD5500, EN13445 & PED (CE marking).
Requirements:
A successful candidate must have sound knowledge of pressure vessel products in a broad range of industries such as; Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Chemical, and be highly proficient with the following design software; Finglow, Compress, PVE;ite and AutoCAD2000 or above for drawing. The successful applicant will be qualified to a minimum of BTEC HNC in a mechanical engineering discipline.
Your role will include producing design calculations and fabrication drawings to customer specifications and design codes, creating Bills of Materials to facilitate release of orders within a customers timescales. This is a full life cycle role and so you will be responsible for Project managing projects from order placement through to completion.
